Ahuachapán
El Imposible is a tropical and subtropical jungle park. Nestled in the Apaneca-Ilamatepeque mountain range, El Imposible represents the country's most biodiverse region, featuring ancient forest that likely dates back to early Mesoamerican times.
Since welcoming visitors in 1997, El Imposible National Park has offered camping areas, an informational center, interpretive and conventional hiking trails, scenic lookouts, community guides, and visitor accommodations.
