Chiltiupán: La Libertad Costa. The coastal highway west from Puerto de La Libertad offers a breathtaking route of dramatic rocky outcrops and stunning viewpoints. But immediately after you emerge from the first of five tunnels carved into the rock of the verdant cliffs along the highway, you can't miss the perfect waves breaking hundreds of meters below on the beach known as K59.
Mizata
Teotepeque: La Libertad Costa. This stunning destination is widely considered the most beautiful in the area, with lush, abundant tropical vegetation embracing the shoreline and creating spectacular natural scenery for every visitor.

Barra de Santiago
Jujutla: Ahuachapán Sur. For surfing, Barra de Santiago delivers an expansive beach break that produces waves of different sizes, speeds, and power depending on the sandbar formations and their shape. Generally though, the waves are fast and break from right to left with short rides, and occasional barrels that close out when waves exceed 6 feet (2 meters).
Bahía de Jiquilisco
Usulután Oeste. Explore the largest mangrove forest in El Salvador at Jiquilisco Bay in Usulután. This pristine sanctuary also shelters the largest population of seabirds in the country, including many endangered species.
