Museos en Suchitoto

Cuscatlán

In Suchitoto art is everywhere! An example of this is the Remembrance house of Alejandro Cotto a huge and beautiful architectural residence full of stories of the Salvadoran filmmaker, writer and cultural manager. This place seems to have been trapped in time and its landscapes are incredible. Learn about the cuisine of the time, the rooms, halls, fountains and beautiful gardens of the house of this Salvadoran filmmaker and his friends. Immerse yourself in every story told by the guides and discover everything about this Salvadoran character. And if you always dreamed of having a collection of banknotes from all countries, you can't miss the Money Museum. Its creator, José Luís Urías, tells about its five exhibition rooms where visitors can see from religious elements to Salvadoran history, general culture and the most precious collection of coins and bills. There are two rooms dedicated to appreciate the best of the five continents, including a tiny coin, the Tetradrachm, from Macedonia, used in Babylon around 311 to 305 BC, a real treasure not to be missed.
