In Salcoatitán history remains in writing!
The Printing Museum is located here, in the department of Sonsonate. A place that tells the passage of time through typefaces and iron machines that once worked to revolutionize and democratize access to books.
It has a large collection of machines, but among its greatest treasures stands out a letterpress from the year 1830 and one from 1860, as well as writings, collections of literary pieces and a Latin copy of the 42-line Bible that is considered the first book printed with movable typography.
As a lover of books and history, this place will enchant you.
