If you love plastic arts, you can't miss the Art Museum of El Salvador (MARTE), where a tribute is paid to Salvadoran art. Its permanent galleries and private collections display a great panorama of Salvadoran art from the mid-nineteenth century to date.
Its two temporary exhibition halls have housed pieces by great international artists such as Pablo Picasso, David Siqueiros, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí, to mention a few.
Outside, it houses the Monument to the Revolution, an important piece of art in the capital.
