The city has attractions and cultural, natural and handicraft patrimony. It has the Cerro El Pital site, the highest place in El Salvador at an altitude of 2,730 AMSL, an excellent panoramic view of the region, the Cuevas del Partideño, Los Encuentros River, La Golondrina waterfalls, Sumpul River, Atlacatl Boy Scout camp, a Central Park and Loma de la Cruz Park. It has a wide hotel and urban/mountain restaurants offer.
