Located at the Wild east, it is probably the second-best wave in the country, with a rocky bottom beach and strong currents, which makes it very sport demanding. There are a couple of high quality resort hotels to lodge in, although access is not easy and will require a four-wheel-drive vehicle and maybe a tour guide.
How to get there.
From San Salvador head to the east of the country along the coastline highway. Upon hitting El Cuco beach, go west.
