Juayúa, a destination of landscapes and adventure!
Juayúa lies nested in the middle of mountains and spectacular landscapes. It is another one of the municipalities along the Route of Flowers (Ruta de Las Flores), that awaits you with a cool climate, full of landscapes and natural destinations in Sonsonate, west of Salvador.
The seven waterfalls (Las Siete Cascadas), where you can climb or rappel more than one of them; the Las Ranas lagoon, which is located in the Protected Natural Area of the same name; and Portezuelo Park, an ecological park in the middle of a misty forest are all must- see destinations in Juayua.
Visitors can also tour the city on horseback, in carriages or train.
The urban area offers craft shops, cafes, nurseries, restaurants, art galleries and on weekends the gastronomic festival where visitors can taste different traditional dishes.
The church dedicated to the miraculous Black Christ, its beautiful and ancient architecture, is an attraction for nationals and foreigners.
