Conchagua: La Unión
Because it proceeds from volcanic origin, is of black sand and rock formations that form small ponds, make it an attractive destination in this eastern part of the country.
Whether taking a dip in the natural ocean “salt pools”, cooling off in the waters with the waves, watching from a distance how the waves break into the rocks or resting in the rustic huts with palm tree as rooftops, are some of the things that you can do on this peculiar beach.
It has a small dock where you can enjoy boat rides, or buy freshly caught fish from the local fisherman. Among its wide range of fresh seafood are oysters and a large variety of fish dried in the sun on bamboo tables.
